Although, I am curious to know if you need to do this when exporting if you used track stacks in arrangement? Let me know if you know this. I was like you and was used to doing things that way, but trust me, you won’t look back once you start using them👍🏾It’s just a clean and efficient way of working. Re. Luna I’ve been seeing people who use Logic saying how great it is for mixing and mastering, so I am interested as I think it might give a fresh perspective when working in another DAW for those process I.e. mixing and mastering. Like you I am a long time Logic user (Emagic days😂) and it’s hard for me to dip my toe into other daw waters!!😄. Every blessing bro🙏🏾🙌🏾

Hey KC, no worries. That’s a good amount of tracks, so track stacks should be perfect.👌🏾😄. Btw I downloaded Luna and have been getting my head around it. It’s pretty straightforward so far. And can definitely see myself using it for Mixing. I like that separation of tasks and it helps shift perspective. Early days, but initial signs are encouraging🙏🏾

What should I do if I adjusted the flex pitch? Becaus locking the audio files in place after adjusting flex pitch and then adjusting the tempo to what it should be still messes with the rythm of the audio file. Hope this is specific enough...

Hey, I was just wondering if you’ve ever experienced this? So I'm not sure what has happened, or more so how. But all my 3rd party plug-ins have disappeared. I had used a symlink file to save on space, so they were actually on my SSD. They've worked perfectly for years, but I've just opened my most recent project to find they've all became unavailable. They were working fine just yesterday and I hadn't deleted anything. When I go into plug-in manager, they are all missing from the manufacturer section. I only have Apple and Logic in the list! Since then I've deleted the cache and restarted. I've moved the components file out of the library/audio/plug-in/components bit, (which is still a symlink at the moment). Then restarted Logic. I've even deleted Logic from m MacBook and reinstalled it, which I'm not sure but might have caused further problems as it kind of started from the beginning when I opened it. Everything seems normal for now though. The only problem being, my plug-ins are still missing from Logic. Nothing has brought them back. So any help would be very much appreciated. Keep up the good work homie.
Hey, that don’t sound good, and isn’t something I’ve had an issue with. Are they definitely in the correct components folder? There’s 2, if I’m correct - 1 in Users, and the Main drive. Have you tried installing the plugins from scratch? Opened Logic in Rosetta mode? Let us know if you manage to sort it.
@@kcsounds hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I don’t know anything about Rosetta ect, but I don’t think that’s something I should need to do. I’ve never had any problems up to now and it normally runs clean and fast! My “user” components (hold option while selecting GO to find the hidden library), that on has nothing in the folder and won’t let me delete it to replace it with a symlink components file!

@@kcsounds I think I might have sorted it bro! 🙌🏽 Don’t really know 100% what I did, but I got there! They’re back! I think it was something to do with me making the folder a symlink. It’s been so messy I’m not really sure what went wrong. I just deleted the components folder from the internal library all together, deleted the audio unit cache thing, reset my computer and restarted Logic and it scanned all 200+ plug-ins 😅

Hey, you never mentioned what to press to go to the next instrument after linking. Keep up the good work as always bro. Also is there a way you can see what keys are assigned to shortcuts so I don’t accidentally use one that is already in use?
Hey, it’s the same as the FX. Whatever instruments is above or below the channel you originally selected should automatically open. Logic won’t allow you to use an existing key command, so you should be fine. Cheers for watching bro

@@kcsounds I'm working with a friend who is out-of-state now. The song was too slow and trying to get him to speed up his solo wasn't a great option. I had been going through it by hand, but that sucked and was making me hate our song. Now, you got me back on track and saved our song! You are a hero!!!

My biggest issue with upgrading to the mac studio , was with plug in companies like Waves , who want me to buy my plugins again , no thanks Waves , other plugin woes are Izotope killing off R4 and Nimbus reverbs …. Thats a bit shitty … the machine itself though is amazing!

Try downloading from the inspector window on the left, where the instruments are. Cheers for watching
Pro tools has a channel that you can create called master mix giving the user full control over all tracks to change the volume levels for each track at once with the slider, keeping your mix volumes in tack on each track. How do I find this and create it for a project in Logic 11?
This sounds like track stacks in Logic Pro. Something I’m still getting used to myself. Highlight the channels you want in the Edit window, right-click and choose ‘Create track stacks’. Choose your preference - job done. Hope that helps, and cheers for watching

My man, this was a great video. Would you still recommend the m1 max studio today for music? I record guitar mainly but want a future proof machine. I'm so confused as this is my first mac, it's like learning a new language so many options aswell I'm paralysed 😂 sorry for the generic question but hope you can answer. Preciate your feedback bro! Someone left a comment on here saying M1 is actually better than M2 & M3 - not sure how true that is - but, I will say that’s it’s more than enough for my needs. However, the specs I have aren’t the best. My advice would be to get the right specs for your 1st Mac, as this should last you 10+yrs.
